Ethan Stanislawski is a writer stand-up comedian, sketch comedian, character performer and storyteller currently based in Los Angeles, after spending years in New York City and another in Bloomington, Indiana. He performs every month to sold out shows at the Pack Theater in Los Angeles with his sketch comedy team Nightchurch, has performed in multiple stand-up festivals across the country. Ethan was a writer for the 2018 CBS Diversity Showcase directed by Stephen Guarino. He is the co-writer and co-producer of the film Punk Noir, currently in pre-production. 

Ethan was a professional music and theater critic from 2008-2013, and studied music journalism in a Masters program at the Indiana University School of Journalism. His writings have been published in the Village Voice, NPR, Prefix Magazine, Perfect Sound Forever, Hypebot, New City (Chicago), and more. He has also produced multiple comedy/punk rock shows both in Brooklyn and Orange County.

Originally from New York City, Ethan has a B.A. with honors from The University of Chicago. He lives in Los Angeles with his poodle terrier mix Penny.
